A Little About Me

stack of books

After 14 years of teaching general education in first and second grade, this year I have moved to special education. If you know me, you know I love the challenge of switching things up often. I am looking forward to this new adventure.

I began teaching in 2006 after completing my Elementary Education degree at Ole Miss. In May of 2012, I received a Master of Curriculum and Instruction Degree from Arkansas State University.

Outside of school, I am a very busy wife and mother of five. This year I have two children at DCMS, one at DCHS, one at Purdue University, and one at the University of Memphis.  I am also a member of Crosspointe Church in Olive Branch. My family loves sports and can't wait to get to some football games in the fall.
