Bio

Hello! I'm Mrs. Millwood. I have been married to my husband Rob since 2010 and we live in Southaven, MS. We have two pugs (Jackson & Bella) and a Siamese cat (Vivie). I have proudly been part of the Greenbrook family for almost 10 years. I am your child's Self Contained teacher for the 2020-2021 school year and am VERY excited to make this the best year yet!

Education and Experience

I graduated from Baptist College of Health Sciences in 2003 with a Bachelor's of Science with a major in Nuclear Medicine. After years of working in a hospital I knew Special Education was my calling and completed the alternate route program through The University of Mississippi to receive my license with a SPED endorsement. I was the Preschool SPED assistant at Greenbrook for six years before teaching Resource for a year and a half and now I am extremely excited to be teaching Self Contained this year! I grew up  with my severely disabled nieces being an every day part of my life. They are the reason I love special education so much. No matter what disability children are ALWAYS able to grow, learn, and feel loved.
